The AUTOOL AS505 Transmission Fluid Tester is a professional automotive testing tool designed to quickly assess the condition and quality of transmission fluid.

Using high-precision optical sensing technology, the AS505 measures the light transmittance of the transmission fluid to help identify contamination, impurities and sediment. This gives technicians a fast and easy way to assess transmission fluid condition and determine whether servicing or fluid replacement should be considered.

Ideal for automotive workshops, transmission specialists, service centres and vehicle technicians.

Key Features

High-Precision Optical Testing
Uses an optical transmitter and receiver sensor to analyse transmission fluid by measuring light transmittance through the oil.

Transmission Fluid Condition Testing
Helps identify impurities, contamination and sediment within transmission fluid, providing a quick indication of overall fluid condition.

Built-In Oil Temperature Measurement
The integrated temperature sensor displays the actual transmission fluid temperature during testing.

Fast Testing
Simply clean the probe, immerse it into the transmission fluid and start the test. Results are displayed within seconds.

2.8" LCD Backlit Display
Large digital display provides clear, easy-to-read test results in workshop environments.

800mm Flexible Probe
The long flexible probe makes it easier to access transmission fluid in confined engine bays and workshop applications.

Durable Teflon Hose
Designed to provide excellent resistance to oil, oxidation and corrosion for increased service life.

Portable Workshop Tool
Compact battery-powered design makes the AS505 convenient for workshop, mobile mechanic and vehicle inspection use.

How It Works

The AS505 sends a specific wavelength of light through the transmission fluid using its optical probe.

The tester measures how much light is absorbed or scattered by the fluid. Changes in light transmittance can indicate contamination, impurities or sediment within the transmission oil.

The AS505 processes this information and displays the results directly on its LCD screen, allowing technicians to quickly assess transmission fluid condition.

Simple 4-Step Testing

  1. Clean the testing probe.
  2. Immerse the probe into the transmission fluid.
  3. Press the test button.
  4. View the transmission fluid test result on the display.
