The Whistler GT268Xi radar detector provides efficient laser detection with 360-degree protection. Selective Ka-frequency scanning gives fast response times against mobile speed cameras and laser measurements, and the Ka and X band filter modes help prevent false alarms.

Detection and False Alert Rejection

• FDSR (Field Disturbance Sensor Rejection) combats false alerts caused by collision avoidance and blind spot detection systems in newer vehicles
• TFSR (Traffic Flow Sensor Rejection) helps eliminate alerts from radar-based traffic flow sensors
• Ka narrow mode looks only for the Ka frequencies 34.0 GHz and 34.3 GHz
• Detects European laser guns (Traffipatrol XR, Riegl, Jenoptik, Laveg, Truspeed and more)
• Selectable laser modes allow selection of multiple pulse rate segments including Traffipatrol XR, LISD and laser guns with stealth modes
• X/K filter modes add levels of rejection to reduce false alerts caused by radar traffic monitoring systems, including radar-based lane change assistants
• Ka filter modes offer multiple levels of signal processing to reduce false alerts caused by some radar detectors
• Laser Signature ID (LSID) is a laser identifier that shows the pulses per second (PPS) transmitted by a speed laser or other laser sources
• POP mode detection responds to brief bursts of radar
• 360° MAXX coverage detects from front, sides and rear
• High gain lens gives an increased field of view, which means better range

Display and Alerts

• Numeric icon display shows distinct visual symbols of the alerts detected and the modes engaged, with signal strength shown as a number (1 to 9)
• Alert periscope LEDs on top of the unit give an additional visual alert
• Tone alerts give audible alerts for the bands received
• Alert priority displays the most important signal when more than one is detected
• 3 city modes (City, City 1 and City 2) reduce the annoyance of false alerts
• Dim and dark modes reduce the display illumination
• Quiet and auto quiet modes silence audio alerts
