LAUNCH CRT 5011X TPMS Activation & Diagnostic Tool

What does the LAUNCH CRT 5011X TPMS tool do?

The TPMS primary function is to make the driver aware of the status of tire pressure within the tires. TPMS monitor tool notifies you when your vehicle's tire pressure is low or is going flat. To help you maintain proper tire pressure, TPMS can increase your safety on the road by improving your vehicle's handling, decreasing tire wear, reducing braking distance, and bettering fuel economy.

LAUNCH TPMS diagnostic tool is a must for car DIYers, enthusiasts, mechanics, tire shops, and vehicle garages. You can use this smart reset tool to achieve sensor replacement, tire shifting, sensor check, TPMS diagnostics, sensor programming, sensor relearning, etc.

Launch CRT5011X is 2021 newest completed TPMS reset tool, which enables users to diagnose tire pressure monitoring systems, trigger replaced tire sensors, program Launch sensors, and complete the relearning procedure after sensors replacement. Intelligent one-button operation improves the work efficiency of each car owner and the mechanics of the tire shop or repair shops to replace tires and sensors. Additionally, it also supports all 10 modes of the OBD II test for a complete diagnosis. For more highlights, please check the information below:

  • Covers over 98% of global vehicles with tire pressure system
  • Activate and match with all 315 MHz/ 433 MHz tire pressure sensors
  • Reset, relearn and reprogram tire pressure sensors fast
  • Diagnose the tire pressure issues, read and clear tire pressure DTCs
  • Reprogramming LAUNCH sensors with unlimited times
  • Read tire sensor ID, tire pressure, tire temperature, and battery status accurately
  • Reprogram up to 8 sensors at one time
  • Built-in learning tutorial for easy operation
  • 4 ID generation methods: Manual creation, Copy ID, Automatic creation, OBD Creation
  • 3 Activation Methods: Automatic Relearn, Stationary Relearn, OBD Relearn
  • OBD II / EOBD functions included.

Ways to Program the LAUNCH Sensors

Programming allows users to program the sensor data to the new LAUNCH sensors and replace faulty sensors with low battery life or one that is not functioning. The LAUNCH CRT 5011X diagnostic tool can program 8 sensors simultaneously. Note*: This TPMS reset tool only programs the LAUNCH sensors.

Copy ID by Activation: If the old sensors are not completely broken, you can use the TPMS relearn tool to appropriately trigger them and write in the retrieved original sensor data to the LAUNCH-sensor.

Manual Input: If the original sensor is completely bad or can’t be activated, you can obtain the original ID from the cover of the old sensors, manually input the sensor ID, and write into the new LAUNCH sensors.

Auto Create: If the old sensor is completely broken or the original sensor ID can not be obtained, you can apply the car TPMS monitoring tool to create random IDs according to the test vehicle information.

Copy by OBDII: If neither of the above methods, you can connect the OBD cable to receive the old sensor ID from TPMS ECU and copy it to LAUNCH sensors.

3 Modes to Relearn the Sensors

Relearn operation applies only to some occasions when the newly programmed sensor IDs are different from the original sensor IDs stored in the vehicle’s ECU. The LAUNCH CRT 5011X car scanner matches OE and common sensors with on-board TPMS modules and establishes mutual communication.

Stationary Relearn: Require the vehicle to be placed in the “Learn Mode”, follow the screen instruction to activate sensors, and perform stationary relearn.

OBDII Relearn: Allow the CRT 5011X to directly write TPMS sensor IDs to the TPMS module via the OBD connector.

Auto Relearn: You can complete relearning by driving and refer to the on-screen Relearn Procedure for the exact details of the process.

Key Fob Testing

This feature is developed to assist with the diagnosis of all types of (RF) Radio Frequency remote controls. It can be used on most makes and models of vehicles. Please notice this function is only available after you upgrade the TPMS tool to the latest version.
